What is Jiu-Jitsu?
Jiu-Jitsu is a grappling-based martial art that focuses on chokeholds and joint locks, making it a ground-fighting discipline.
Like Judo, practitioners wear a gi (uniform) and aim to control their opponent without causing harm.
Since it does not involve strikes (kicks or punches), it is often called a "strategic martial art."
Its high level of safety makes it suitable for women and older individuals as well.

The path to executing submission and joint lock techniques is well established.
It is a martial art that fully engages both the mind and body, requiring you to select the optimal move in response to your opponent's actions.
In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, there is a "belt system" that evaluates growth and skill.
Everyone starts as a "white belt" and progresses by clearing tasks and goals through daily practice. As you progress,
your instructor will wrap a thin tape around your belt, which is called a "stripe." Once you collect four stripes, you will advance to the next belt rank.
